To switch to Safe\u00a0 Mode:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Long press the power button.<\/li>\r\n<li>Tap and hold onto the \u201cpower off\u201d option.<\/li>\r\n<li>Select &#8220;safe mode.&#8221;<\/li>\r\n<li>Wait for the phone to reboot, then go on to the next step.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Alternatively, if your phone doesn&#8217;t have this feature, you can activate &#8220;airplane mode&#8221; and proceed.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong><em>Step 3: Remove the malicious app manually<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Go to settings and check if there are any malicious apps with admin privileges that have been installed.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Open the \u201csettings\u201d menu.<\/li>\r\n<li>Go to \u201cBiometrics and Security.\u201d<\/li>\r\n<li>Tap on &#8220;Other security settings.&#8221;<\/li>\r\n<li>Click on \u201cDevice admin apps\u201d to see all installed apps.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>If you can&#8217;t find the &#8220;Device Admin Apps,&#8221; use the search function to search for it.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The next step is to find and disable the admin privileges of the malicious app. After you have disabled it, it&#8217;s time to uninstall the malicious app.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Exit \u201cSafe Mode\u201d following the same procedure used to activate it. Your phone\/tablet will restart and resume in normal mode.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong><em>Step 4: Download some malware protection<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Now, it\u2019s time to download an anti-malware app. This will help you to automatically remove the infected software if you weren&#8217;t able to do it manually. Since you have to access the internet to get the malware protection software, you need to be very careful.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>There are several security apps that you can choose from to protect your phone or to remove any potentially infected app. Some of the most popular ones are Avast Antivirus and AVG Antivirus.
