Introduction to the Project (HASfit Fitness App For iOS & Android)<\/h2>\n

In today’s world, due to busy schedules, people now like to do their work out right in their home only to stay fit and in shape. But if you don’t perform the workout exercises in the right manner, you can end up hurting your muscles and even build misaligned muscles. Our client Joshua Kozak\u00a0wanted to make the personal trainer experience available to everyone and that’s why he chose to build an app for his business, we earlier made this App’s first version in 2013 and now launched an all-new HASfit 2.0 2018.<\/p>\n

Project Challenges<\/strong><\/p>\n

Based on the client inputs, we started working on converting wireframes into polished designs, the customer was kind enough to have already sent us detailed mockups though. The app provides high-definition videos and motivational speeches (within videos) to bring out the best in you and our major challenge was to design an intuitive UI and UX flow so as to make sure that users don’t come across any troubles while using the app. Also, as we were developing HASfit for both Android and iOS at the time, it was not easy to build a consistent UX. But our vivid experience in mobile application development came in handy and our experienced developers walk through the challenge pretty easily.<\/p>\n

About the app<\/strong><\/p>\n

The App is designed using card layout design theme. The main activity i.e. the main page include all the latest workout videos where users can simply scroll to choose a workout video to watch. Once a user clicks on the workout video, a detailed video page is shown with a mini player at the top, just as in YouTube. Other users comments\u00a0are also shown and people can also express their opinions.<\/p>\n

Technology Stack<\/strong><\/p>\n

To develop HASfit for Android, we used Android Studio, Java, and other third-party SDKs and to build its iOS version, we used XCode and Swift. The backend of the app is supported by Amazon Web Services (AWS).<\/p>\n

– Quickly find a workout you are looking for by filtering them based on time, fitness level, equipment, and workout type.<\/p>\n

– Free to use with an in-app purchase to remove ads.<\/p>\n

– Detailed exercise info like difficulty, duration, calories burnt, etc.<\/p>\n
